Stan James are convinced Ricky Ponting's Baggy Greens will fall short in their quest to land the 2009 Twenty20 World Cup which begins at Lords on Friday, and the firm will refund all losing bets on the outright win market, placed prior to Friday's opening fixture, if Australia (currently 5/1) oblige in the Final at Lords on Sunday June 21st.

The firm will also pay out both countries as winners, on bets placed prior to the toss, in the event of a tie in any of the 27 Twenty20 Ties during the tournament.

Head of PR Charlie McCann told Bettingpro this afternoon "We have been biggest price the Aussies for most of the winter on the forthcoming Ashes Series and we are so certain the Baggy Greens will be off the pace in the Twenty20 World Cup that we will refund all losing stakes on the outright market, placed prior to the start of the Tournament, if Ponting's side land the second Twenty20 World Cup. They have, it would appear, looked majestic at Trent Bridge against Bangladesh this afternoon but they face the group of death with Sri Lanka and West Indies, and are not even guaranteed to make it into the Super 8s."
