Sri Lanka's tour of Australia: Siddle, Haddin make international comebacks Visit Ladbrokes Save For Later Posted by Suneer Chowdhary 25 Oct 2010 Tweet Related Articles See all T20 Internationals news Share it Pin It Australia has announced the squad for the T20I game against Sri Lanka to be played on October 31 at WACA in Perth. Peter Siddle and Brad Haddin will both make international comebacks to the side after being out of the side due to injuries for almost one year. Michael Hussey and Mitchell Johnson have both been rested for the game but will feature in a Sheffield Shield game instead. The 12-member squad is made up entirely of players from Victoria and New South Wales. Dave Warner will open the innings with Shane Watson, while Haddin will keep wickets in place of Tim Paine. Michael Clarke will continue to lead the side but will look to get some runs in this format of the game while Cameron White will be Clarke’s deputy. David Hussey will also be present in the middle order. Amongst the pace bowlers, Dirk Nannes will partner Siddle. Clint McKay and John Hastings, both of whom played in the solitary ODI of the recent tour of India, are also a part of the squad. One of Steven Smith and Steve O’Keefe will lead the spin bowling attack if the side decides not to play them both. This is the last series after which the Aussies take on England in the Ashes. All the odds for the Australia-Sri Lanka series will be updated here shortly.
