India take on Sri Lanka in the third ODI of the five-match series and the action now moves to Colombo.

It will be a day-night game and will be played on July 28 and here is how you can watch Sri Lanka v India 3rd ODI live streaming.

The series is level at 1-1 after India out-batted Sri Lanka in the first game and the hosts came back with vengeance to bowl the visitors out for a below-par 138 in the second match.

India (9/10 at Boylesports) will be worried about their batting inconsistencies; they posted a 300 plus score in the first ODI before giving away their wicket for a sub-150 total in the second. The pitch and the conditions did not change too much for them and they batted first in both games.

The one batsman who will be under immense pressure to retain his spot in the playing 11 will be Rohit Sharma. Experts have often reckoned that his problems lie in his inability to convert his starts into something bigger but in the last two ODIs, Sharma has been found wanting to even get going.

With two failures to his name, and umpteen other chances, the time is probably right for a change – one of Manoj Tiwary or Ajinkya Rahane needs to be brought into the line-up. The rest of the batting will remain the same, with Gautam Gambhir (7/2 at Coral) being one of the players to watch out for from the Indian line-up.

After a slow start in the first game, Gambhir was India’s lone warrior in the second game. He made a half-century and was the last man out trying to force the pace.

The other worry for India will be their bowling. While the target wasn’t too much to defend in the second match and the Sri Lankan openers came out hard against them, the Indian bowlers have yet to come good in either game. While changes are not the order of the day, likes of Umesh Yadav and Zaheer Khan may need to look at coming good.

Pragyan Ojha was hit on his neck during a net session and may not start the game. Rahul Sharma is the other spinning option for India.

Sri Lanka (1/1 at BetFred) will look to go into the match with an unchanged line-up. Their only worry will be the form of inexperienced medium-pacer Isuru Udana, who went for plenty in the second match. Udana was selected in place of the injured Nuwan Kulasekara and could well be the weak link in the Sri Lankan bowling attack.

Thisara Perera has often been under-estimated by opposing batsmen, which explains an ODI bowling average of 22.5. The Indians will do well to play him normally instead of going after him from the very start and risk losing wickets off him.

Tillakaratne Dilshan (4/1 at Ladbrokes) and Kumar Sangakkara will be the two batsmen Indian bowlers will look to get out early in their innings.
