The two T20Is will be a part of the tour that also consists of two Test matches and five ODIs and will start from October 26. Pakistan will be led by Shahid Afridi after a controversial tour of England saw them lose all the three series – T20Is, ODIs and Test matches. They will look to put all their issues behind them and try and win some games, even as the ICC looks on for the side to implement the code of conduct for anti-corruption. South Africa clean swept Zimbabwe in the two T20Is and three ODIs but their real challenge would be to adjust to the slowish nature of the tracks in the Middle East and play the Pakistani spinners well. Graeme Smith has given up on the captaincy in this format of the game and it will be interesting to see how Johan Botha – a spinner himself – goes about getting the side to adjust to conditions which are far different from what they encounter back in South Africa.
