The match will begin on December 26 at Kingsmead in Durban.Watch & bet on Test cricket live streaming at Bet365 > live streaming > cricket. It was a tough initiation to Test match cricket in South Africa for the visitors as they capitulated twice in the same game to paltry scores. Vernon Philander took his fourth five-wicket haul in three Test matches as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 180 and 150 to crash to an innings defeat. It will not get easier on the bouncier pitch of Kingsmead. The batsmen will need to show a lot more intent in Durban, where the bounce will be much more difficult to face than that back home. The Sri Lankan batsmen also faced issues with converting their starts into something more meaningful. In the first innings, there were four batsmen with scores between 30 and 40 but none of them got a half-century. On the other hand, captain T Dilshan (4/1 at bet365) made two scores of six as he continues his struggle for runs at the top of the order. He may need to look seriously at dropping himself down the order and come to bat when the ball is slightly older.Kumar Sangakkara (11/4 at bet365) did not have a great time with the bat in the first Test but that can be attributed to his fitness issues. He should be fit for this game and the Sri Lankan side will hope for a longer stay at the crease from this former captain. South Africa have been blessed by a good pace attack that should make things more difficult for the opposition. Philander aside, Dale Steyn is doing a good job and Morne Morkel’s steep bounce from the pitch has made it a miserable series for the Lankans so far.The home did lose a few wickets in a hurry on the second morning but AB de Villiers’ (4/1 at SportingBet) 99 and Mark Boucher’s 65 helped the side get 411. Under the circumstances, the lead of 231 was huge. There will be no change to the South African XI, despite the recall of Lonwabo Tsotsobe to the squad. South Africa will be gunning to wrap up the series quickly in this game before moving to Cape Town to play the third game from January 3.South Africa will be favourites (9/20 at SportingBet) to clinch the series in this game, with Sri Lanka (10/1 at bet365) a distant second to win the game. The South Africa v Sri Lanka 2nd Test match will be played at 08.00 am GMT on Monday, December 26.
