England were outplayed by a classy South Africa in the first match of the World Twenty20 Super Eights.

England were all out for 111 with one ball to go after appallingly losing their last seven wickets for 33.

Despite losing to the Netherlands in the tournament's opening match, England appeared to have rediscovered some form in beating Pakistan at The Oval.

South Africa bowled and fielded well, but only three home players made double figures in an embarrassing England display.

The result was the lowest total recorded by England in twenty20 history, and it renewed fears that Paul Collingwood's side lack the ability required to play the best teams.
