Pietersen dropped from Pakistan ODIs, T20Is Visit Ladbrokes Save For Later Posted by Suneer Chowdhary 1 Sep 2010 Tweet Related Articles See all T20 Internationals news Share it Pin It English middle-order batsman, Kevin Pietersen was dropped from the England side for the ODI and the T20I series against Pakistan that starts from September 5 at Cardiff. Pietersen has shown glimpses of struggling with his form and apart from an edgy 80, he had a miserable Test series against Pakistan as well. Pietersen did not take too kindly to his exclusion and wrote on his Twitter page, “Done for rest of summer!! Man of the World Cup T20 and dropped from the T20 side too. Its a f**k up!!” However, he deleted the post only minutes after putting it up, but not before the damage was done. The post was re-tweeted all over, and Pietersen may now have to explain his actions to the ECB. Apart from Pietersen, England also dropped Craig Kieswetter from the ODI side, despite having him in the T20Is. He will continue to open the innings in the T20Is, but will be replaced as the wicket-keeper by Steven Davies. Kieswetter was the man of the match in the final of the ICC World T20, as he guided his side to a win over the Aussies with the bat. Andrew Strauss will lead the 14-member ODI team, whereas Paul Collingwood will be the captain of the T20I side. England are favourites to win the two-game T20I series against Pakistan, more so because the opposition will be distracted by the cloud of match-fixing. Bet365 offers 4/11 for an English win, whereas Pakistan go into the series at 11/5 (Bet365). A 1-1 draw is at 6/5 (Bet365) Read our Ladbrokes review Use code MAXIMUMBONUS to get £50 free at Ladbrokes Like Like Post to wall 1 Reads All Cricket News Recent Cricket Articles South Africa v India live streaming one-off T20I29 Mar 2012South Africa take on India in a one-off T20I at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on March 30.
