Mohammad Hafeez and Saeed Ajmal got a couple of wickets apiece, whereas Shahid Afridi bagged three wickets to bowl Sri Lanka out for 131 in their 40.3 overs. Pakistan batted for five overs before the scheduled lunch break to get to 30/1 before returning back to complete the facile win. Afridi's three-wicket haul won him the man of the match award.The second ODI of the series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on November 14 at Dubai.
