The game will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai v Deccan odds:Despite the crushing loss to Punjab, the Mumbai Indians (2/5 at 888Sport) will go into the game as favourites. They have won eight of their 11 games and that defeat was an aberration at worst. Two losses against lowly-placed oppositions – and the Chargers (12/5 at SportingBet) are nothing if not that – will be hard to digest for the side. The Deccan Chargers, on the other hand, have not been helped by their captain’s lack of tactical nous – getting in DB Ravi Teja at the top of the innings hasn’t made too much sense, nor has the demotion of Sunny Sohal down the order. What has clearly worked for the Chargers, though, is the ouster of Cameron White, as his replacement JP Duminy, has done a decent job of it in the last few games. They need a much better effort from Dan Christian at the end of the innings to be able to make that difference between a moderate 150 and a potentially match-winning 165. Prediction: Mumbai Indians should win this game with ease.
