In return, the PCB could reciprocate by allowing the BCB have their candidate as the vice-president of the ICC.The ICC follows a rotation policy among the boards in deciding their vice-president, who then goes on to represent the body as its president after two years. Currently, the Pakistan and Bangladesh boards have to jointly decide on one candidate. The last time the two boards had to jointly nominate one, Ehsan Mani of Pakistan had got the nod. Pakistan has not seen international cricket at home ever since the terror attacks on the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009. All their home games, including the ongoing series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka are played at neutral venues. Last year, England had hosted the home matches for Pakistan against Australia, while the Middle East has been a preferred option as well. Funnily, a home series for Pakistan against New Zealand was played in New Zealand as well. It now remains to be seen whether Bangladesh will actually make the trip to Pakistan next year and whether the other teams will follow suit.
