None of us had been to St James’ Park before, nor had we been out in Newcastle, so we were looking forward to every aspect of the whole VIP weekend.Seats were great, atmosphere was pretty good, but the match was a shocker with little quality on show. Two of us are clearly bitter because we did our brains backing a high scoring match, while the Gooner sat quietly in the Newcastle end feeling grumpy that his side look mediocre this season. On to the night out, and it seems like Newcastle is the epicentre of stag & hen nights. Total messy place. We dodged the drunken meatheads (at 7pm?) and podgy 40-year women dressed as nuns (complete with another with a wig and a cross on her back - classy) in favour of a couple of decent bars where we drank the place dry in a manner you’d be proud of, having footed the bill! Fortunately for us, any snaps taken after 8pm didn’t survive, so here are some sensible ones. All in all, a cracker of a weekend – no goals but a total winner nonetheless.Cheers BettingPro & Unibet! Thanks for that entertaining account Paul!Bettingpro will continue to run similar competitions throughout the football season.
