bet365 launch 2012 Champion Hurdle market without Hurricane Fly

With Hurricane Fly yet to appear this season bet365 have opened a 2012 Champion Hurdle market without the reigning champion.

Despite Willie Mullins remaining bullish ahead of the Cheltenham Festival, Hurricane Fly’s absence from the track continues to worry ante post punters and his followers will be hoping that he is in fine form when he returns to the track.

If he does return at the peak of his powers then he will be incredibly tough to beat, but you can now take him out of the equation with bet365’s ‘2012 Champion Hurdle betting without Hurricane Fly.’

The leading bookmaker believes Nicky Henderson’s Grandouet will be the best of the rest and the firm have installed the International Hurdle winner as their 7/2 favourite in the market.  Grandouet’s stablemates Spirit Son and Binocular are both rated 11/2 shots, while Paul Nicholls’ hugely talented Zarkandar is also available at 11/2.

Nicholls’ Rock On Ruby is a 7/1 to shot and Dermot Weld’s mare Unaccompanied will have plenty of supporters at 7/1 following her success over Thousand Stars in Ireland recently.
