Popular bookmaker William Hill will be top price on Supreme Novices' Hurdle favourite Cue Card
Cheltenham Fever has fully enveloped those at William Hill HQ as Britain’s Biggest bookmakers pledge an array of offers to celebrate the opening day of the 2011 Festival.
Each-way punters will be accommodated to the tune of 1/4 odds 1,2,3,4 on the opening Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, with 3-1 also available as a standout price for Cue Card. The special price will be available through all channels from 8am tomorrow, but to ensure that ALL punters can get on, stakes may be limited.
Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, told Bettingpro:
‘’Bookmaking is about taking a position on races, and Cheltenham is the time when you stand by your convictions. We want to take on Cue Card, and we’re prepared to do it at a standout price. The 3/1 will last until we’re full-up with it, and then we’ll batten down the hatches and hope!’’
As has become tradition, Hills will also be offering the concession of 1/4 the odds on ALL Cheltenham races, in addition to maintaining their aggressive pricing stance offering 4-1 Hurricane Fly, 4-1 Menorah, and 6/5 Quevega (all available from 8am tomorrow)
