Twist Magic traded at a low of 1-6 on Betfair when looking to be running all over the trailblazing Tamarinbleu 4 out in the Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot this afternoon, only to find disappointingly little in the soft ground.

 The race went to Tamarinbleu, who went off at 16-1 on Betfair SP (traditional SP of 12-1).

But there was wild no over-reaction to the defeat in Betfair’s ante-post market on the Champion Chase, on which Twist Magic is still the 9-4 favourite.
