Punters have snapped up Hills price of 3/1 on Paul Webber's Time For Rupert with the firm reporting liabilities of over £1.5 million on the RSA Chase favourite

With the last of the 3-1 Time for Rupert and 4-1 Master Minded finally drying up at William Hill headquarters, the betting giants have racked-up a £1.5million liability on today’s top punter picks.

In a repeat of yesterday’s Cue Card special offer, the firm continued their aggressive stance offering three stand-out prices on today’s big fancies. In an effort to accommodate all levels of customers, stakes were limited – but the prices held-out for over two hours through all channels.

So Young, Time for Rupert, and Master Minded have each been backed throughout with the morning with So Young cut to 5-2 from 10-3, Time for Rupert into 9-4 from 3-1 and Hills have finally acquiesced on the 4-1 about Master Minded – trimming him into 10-3.

Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, told Bettingpro:

‘’we escaped a scalping yesterday by merit of Cue Card’s defeat, and hopefully we’ll have the same luck today. The big three will individually cost us half-a-million in singles each today, so it’ll be over a £1.5million headache if the troublesome threesome all hit.’’

The impetus continues you from yesterday with a plethora of other movers in the offices. Chicago Grey in the opener has been well-touted trimmed to 5-1 from 11-2 with an uneasy Alfa Beat out to 9-2 from 7-2. Some Target has also been backed for handler Willie Mullins now available at 13-2 from 8-1.

William Hill offer five places 1,2,3,4,5 in the Coral Cup and Arcalis – representing the old guard – has been cut to 16-1 from 25-1, with Ballyhaunis into 12-1 from 16-1.

In the Fred Winter – one of the trappiest handicaps of the meeting What A Charm for handicap wizard Arthur Moore represents the best-backed cut to 8-1 from 12-1, and Divine Rhapsody (9-1 from 14-1) rounds off the day’s movers in the closing Champion Bumper.
