Coral bookmakers, after winning his first race over fences.
The Alan Fleming trained 4-9 favourite jumped well and beat his three opponents comfortably and must now be considered a fancied runner for the feature 2mile novice chase at the Festival in three weeks time.
"Although not specacular it was a confident enough performance, and though Cheltenham plans have yet to be finalised, he looks to have a decent future over the bigger obstacles," Coral spokesman Gary Burton told Bettingpro.
Elsewhere, top weighted Nacarat is the 9-2 favourite with Coral for Saturday's feature Racing Post Chase at Kempton. Tom George's popular grey was trimmed half a point from 5-1 and heads the market from the AP McCoy ridden Fistral Beach at 5-1.
