Stan James is betting Nicholls 5/6 to have more/less than 3.5 Cheltenham Festival winners

Stan James have opened a market on how many of the four favourites for the Championship races (Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase, World Hurdle and Gold Cup) will win their respective races and bet 25/1 that Binocular, Master Minded, Punchestowns and Denman all land the spoils. The 5/4 favourite is that only one of the jollies oblige in the Championship races whilst it is 7/1 that none of the antepost favs succeed.  

The firm are also asking punters how many winners they think Willie Mullins, Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson will have at the Festival, and have a match bet between AP McCoy and Barry Geraghty the two jockeys who have been booting home so many of the big race Henderson winners so far this term.

Charlie McCann of Stan Jame told bettingpro: "Three trainers have dominated the Big races so far this term and we are asking punters whether they believe Messrs Nicholls, Mullins and Henderson can maintain their dominance at the Festival in March? The two English trainers have the favourites for the four Championship races whilst Mullins looks to have a stranglehold on the Bumper and has leading chances in many of the Novice events. But can they continue their rich vein of form when the competition hots up in March?"
