Ladbrokes are offering odds of 7/4 on Hurricane Fly winning the 2012 Champion Hurdle at this year’s Cheltenham Festival and you can get your money back if the superstar doesn’t make it to Prestbury Park.

After Willie Mullins admitted he was "absolutely delighted" with his stable star after working at Leopardstown last week, the money has been arriving for the French import.

However, he is still yet to be seen this season and there will be plenty of ante post punters wondering where the Irish raider is up to in his preparations for the Festival.

Meanwhile, bet365 have opened a 2012 Champion Hurdle market without the reigning champion and the firm believe Nicky Henderson’s Grandouet will be the best of the rest.

The leading bookmaker have installed the International Hurdle winner as their 7/2 favourite in the market.  Grandouet’s stablemates Spirit Son and Binocular are both rated 11/2 shots, while Paul Nicholls’ hugely talented Zarkandar is also available at 11/2.

Nicholls’ Rock On Ruby is a 7/1 to shot and Dermot Weld’s mare Unaccompanied will have plenty of supporters at 7/1 following her success over Thousand Stars in Ireland recently.
