Posting a third behind Tidal Bay last time out, Nicky Henderson’s charge looked more comfortable in today’s weaker field, and strode out to win in good style. Blue Square cut his Royal and SunAlliance odds to 12/1 from 16/1, a move that now makes him second-favourite behind the 10/1 chances Tidal Bay and Joe Lively. His jumping looked neat in the early stages, although he did get in close to a couple late on.
