Cheltenham Festival’s World Hurdle - Thousand Stars Cut

The Willie Mullins-trained Thousand Stars was cut to 7-1  second-favourite (from 10-1) for the Cheltenham Festival’s World Hurdle when victorious in the Morgania Hurdle at Punchestown on Sunday.
 
The grey was also shortened to 14-1 from 33-1 with the same firm for the Champion Hurdle.
 
Lucy Rhodes, spokeswoman for William Hill, said ‘The Morgania saw a pleasing seasonal return for Thousand Stars, and having proven his versatility for varying distances, all options are open for Willie Mullins’s grey’
 
William Hill also introduced Mullins’s Neptune Investments third So Young into the World Hurdle betting at 16-1, with the five-year-old also receiving a 33-1 quote for the Champion.
 
On an interesting Punchestown card, Last Instalment received a 16-1 quote for the RSA following a comprehensive victory in the Florida Pearl Novice Chase, whilst de Bromhead’s Days Hotel was inserted into the Arkle betting at 33-1.
