Last season's Champion Hurdle runner-up, Peddlers Cross, remains 6-1 favourite with Coral to go one better in next year's Arkle, after Donald McCain's charge began his chasing career with a win today.
"Given his achievements over the smaller obstacles, Peddlers Cross was fully entitled to beat his Bangor opponents in the style he did, and although there will be tougher tasks ahead, he remains a worthy Arkle favourite," Coral's David Stevens explained to Bettingpro.
