On what has been a relatively quiet day’s trading, Blue Square report money for Captain Cee Bee in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Edward Harty’s charge had been trading at 25/1 on Tuesday morning but traders had to take evasive action as the money came in and the JP McManus-owned gelding is now a 14/1 shot.

‘We were taken by surprise with the money for Captain Cee Bee this morning and it had all the hallmarks of a tipping line,’ said Blue Square spokesman George Primarolo.

‘The horse was a ready winner at Punchestown when last seen in November and is an interesting contender for the opening race of the festival.’

Elsewhere, Twist Magic remains the 8/15 favourite for Saturday’s Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot.

Supreme Novices’ Hurdle: 7 Khyber Kim, 8 Cork All Star, Muirhead, 14 (from 25) Captain Cee Bee, Kalahari King, 16 Whatuthink, 20 bar.¼ 1-2-3

Victor Chandler Chase: 8/15 Twist Magic, 7/2 Mansony, 10 Ashley Brook, 11 Schindlers Hunt, 12 Tamarinbleu, 14 Hoo La Baloo, 25 Pablo Du Charmil, 200 Pauntley Gopher. 1/4 1-2
