Tony Bellew v Danny McIntosh Odds Preview

Tony Bellew (credit: Dean Mouhtaropoulos/Getty Images)
Tony Bellew defends his British light heavyweight title against Danny McIntosh on Friday night’s Sky Sports bill.

This has the potential to be a cracking fight as both men like to bang and aren’t scared of getting embroiled in all-out war if the opportunity presents itself.

Bellew is fancied to get the victory with Betfred pricing him up at 2/11 and McIntosh available at 4/1.

It would be easy to advise a Bellew KO win here (at 4/6) as the Liverpudlian has power in both hands but he has shown a more mature side in his last two fights when sticking to a game plan and going the distance.

McIntosh won’t be worried about facing Bellew on his home turf and has come away with a result from the lion’s den on more than one occasion.

Backing Bellew to take a points victory (at odds of 5/2) could be the way forward here as he has the class and know how to get the job done against an opponent who could get reckless when behind on the cards late on.

Whatever the outcome, it is sure to be entertaining scrap as long as it lasts.
