Timothy Bradley v Manny Pacquiao Odds – Pacman favourite for Bradley bout

Pound-for-pound number one Manny Pacquiao makes his return to the ring on June 9 when he takes on Timothy Bradley in a welterweight showdown.

Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KOs) has been made the heavy 1.251 favourite with Pinnacle Sports ahead of the fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Last time out Pacquiao won a controversial majority decision over Juan Manuel Marquez in November.

Pac-Man may be facing a bigger and younger fighter in Bradley, and the Filipino icon hasn't been at his pound-4-pound best the last few times out the gate.

With this said, under the stewardship of Freddie Roach, Pacquiao has emerged as one of the best fighters of his generation. The Filipino southpaw has electric speed, and the best combination punches to match. He has amazing footspeed, which gives him the ability to control fighters, and enables him to land punches with tremendous power.

Pacquiao's chin has been tested many times and has yet to fail him as a welterweight, however he does take big shots and there is the possibility of him eating one too many punches.

Bradley (28-0, 12 KOs) faces a tough fight according to the 4.450 odds offered on him beating Pacquiao.

The American comes into the fight on the back of an eighth round stoppage of former lightweight champion Joel Casamayor.

Prior to that win, Bradley won a 10th-round technical decision in the junior welterweight unification bout against Devon Alexander.

Bradley is a pressure fighter that can also box, slug and counter. He possesses a strong punch, launching huge power shots in combination, but he is not a one-punch knockout artist.

Defensively, Bradley bobs and weaves well with his gloves held high. However, he can get wild at times, causing him to become an easy target for his opponents.
