Manny Pacquiao garnering interest

Having laid Ricky Hatton at 7/4 into 6/4 last week, Coral bookmakers now report plenty of interest in Manny Pacquiao, including a couple of five-figure bets at 1/2 ahead of their big clash this weekend.

"We laid Hatton in the earlier exchanges and cut the price to 6/4 (from 7/4), since then all the money has been for Pacquiao at 1/2, including numerous bets of £5,000 or more," said spokesman Gary Burton.

"We are currently managing to hold that price as we expect the usually huge Hatton following to materialise in the couple of days and hours prior to kick off."

Coral make Pacquiao 6/4 to stop Hatton inside the distance and 5/2 to win on points.

Hatton is 10/3 to end the fight early and 9/2 to win with the help of the judges.
