The five-weight world champion will be having his first fight since beating the Hitman in the same MGM Grand arena in December 2007 but is still a firm favourite at 1/4 with Sky Bet to secure a 40th straight victory. Mexican warrior Marquez has a superb 50-4-1 record but is stepping up in weight for this contest and can be backed at 10/3 with sportingbet, while a draw is 28/1 at Boylesports. "I hope I'm wrong but I can't see anything other than a Floyd Mayweather win," said Hatton. "Obviously Juan Manuel Marquez is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, but he's only had one fight as high as 9st 9lb and this bout's at 10st 7lb. It's a big weight difference. "Floyd Mayweather will be remembered as one of the all-time greats as a fighter and I think Marquez is up against it, he's in with a wonderful talent. "He has had two years off, so there could be a bit of ring rust and you never know in this game, but it's Mayweather for me," he told Sky Sports News. Hatton himself has been out of action since a crushing defeat to Manny Pacquiao in May but did not rule out returning to the ring himself. "Floyd Mayweather retired, had two years off but couldn't stay away. He must have got itchy feet and that's what could happen to me," said the 30-year-old Mancunian. "You've got to have the bit between your teeth for this game and obviously that last defeat was heartbreaking for me. "You have to get the fire in your belly back but that's what happened with Floyd and it could happen to me."
