Vitali Klitschko is a hot favourite to win a potential World Heavyweight title fight with David Haye.

David Haye is 11-4 (from 7-2) with bookmaker Coral to beat Vitali Klitschko, should the pair meet following Haye’s victory over Dereck Chisora on Saturday night.  The Ukrainian is 2-7 (from 2-9) to emulate his brother Wladimir by defeating the British fighter.

“The Haye v Chisora fight may not have been one for boxing purists, but David Haye was clinical when delivering the decisive blow that ended the Upton Park bout, and on that evidence we reckon he would give Vitali Klitschko plenty to think about, and as we know, in boxing money talks, so the match-up could well happen,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

There was bad news for another Briton, as Amir Khan went down to Danny Garcia in Las Vegas, a result that came to the layers’ rescue, as the Haye/Khan double had been popular with British punters.

“Amir Khan was a hot favourite to beat Danny Garcia, and the Haye/Khan double was all the rage, so the American’s surprise success has come to our rescue,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
