David Haye and Derek Chisora will slug it out on Saturday night in what could be the biggest British in-play betting fight in history, according to Ladbrokes.
If Chisora wins by KO, TKO or disqualification, Ladbrokes will refund losing bets in the round betting market
All the money this week has been for the fight to go the distance at evens as boxing fans predict a closer contest than is being touted in the pre-fight build up.
Should the fight hang in the balance as it progresses,
Ladbrokes predict in the latter rounds up to £73 a second will be bet in-play and on mobile devices on the outcome.
Haye enters the fight as the odds-on favourite at 1/3 however that hasn't discouraged an army of smaller staking backers rallying round to support Chisora at 5/2. A Chisora victory by decision is also popular at 7/1.
The special odds indicate that the fighters will touch gloves beforehand (1/8) but won't shake hands in the press conference after (5/1). It's 7/1 the winner beats any Klitschko within a year while Chisora is 1/2 to have his licence returned before the end of 2013.
Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Donohue told Bettingpro.com: “Punters can't wait to see these two get it on. The money suggests it will be far tighter than many predict.
“Should the fight remain close we expect in-play records to be smashed.”
