Fellow British boxing star believes champion is 'untouchable' at heavyweight

Amir Khan is backing David Haye to come out on top when he defends his WBA heavyweight title against Audley Harrison at the MEN Arena in Manchester on November 13.

Khan knows both fighters well from his amateur days but just favours Haye to be too hot for Sydney Olympics gold medallist Harrison in this 'Battle of Britain' showdown.

"Me and Audley go back a long way, we are good friends," Khan told Sky Sports News. "He supported me when I won the silver medal, he gave me some tips there.

"The same with David Haye, after I turned professional he gave me a lot of good tips on what it's like to become a world champion and how to pace myself in a fight - he comes to visit me in Bolton and I go to see him when I'm down in London.

"But if I had to put my last pound on this fight, I'd put it on David Haye as he's the better fighter, the younger fighter and the hungrier fighter.

"David used to kill himself at cruiserweight but being at heavyweight suits him and I think he is untouchable - I think he's strong, he hits hard, he moves well and takes a good shot."

Haye is a top-priced 1/7 with bet365 to win this bout, while the same firm are offering 2/5 he stops Harrison inside the distance and 4/1 he prevails on points.
