Amir Khan might tempt Floyd Mayweather out of retirement and it would be a fight that would be huge for box office ratings

Amir Khan and Floyd Mayweather are 6/4 with Ladbrokes to meet each other in the ring next year. With Mayweather claiming to be happily retired, though, it’s 1/2 that the fight doesn’t go ahead in 2012. If the fight does happen, Khan is a 7/4 shot to win, with Mayweather 4/9 favourite. It’s most likely (10/11) that Mayweather wins on points, while it’s 9/1 that Khan knocks out the American.

David Williams of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro: “Mayweather drives a hard bargain, so we’re not holding our breath for a fight next year. Khan’s come a long way recently, but if the fight does happen, ‘Pretty Boy’ would be comfortable favourite.”
