If Montepaschi (6-2) wins by 18 or more, however, it will need to beat Asseco Prokom on the road and wait for Barcelona to lose at home against Galatasaray in order to finish first. A win will allow Montepaschi to clinch second place in Group D. This is Barcelona's fourth consecutive regular season visit to Siena in as many years. Expect an entertaining, intense game, as two of the best teams in the competition go against each other.INJURIESBarcelona has no injury problems before its game in Siena. Montepaschi is without Rimantas Kaukenas and Ksistof Lavrinovic, who are sidelined long-term. Bo McCalebb is doubtful for this game. Montepaschi signed former Barcelona swingman Bootsy Thornton, who will be ready to help the hosts on Thursday.THE TAKEIf McCalebb remains sidelined, Nikos Zisis and Marco Carrareto will see most of the minutes at point guard. Zisis will face a key showdown against Marcelinho Huertas while Carrareto will go against another defensive guard like Victor Sada. Two of the best scorers in Euroleague history, Juan Carlos Navarro of FCB Regal and Igor Rakocevic of Montepaschi, will go face to face. Thornton adds much-needed depth at small forward, using his experience and one-on-one skills against Chuck Eidson. And Pete Mickeal must try to stop David Moss in another very interesting matchup. Former Barcelona superstar David Andersen leads Montepaschi's frontcourt along with do-it-all big man Shaun Stonerook. Andersen will try to use his post skills and know-how against Kosta Perovic and Boni Ndong. Meanwhile, Stonerook and Tomas Ress will try to open the floor against Fran Vazquez and Erazem Lorbek. Montepaschi must circulate the ball as always and try to get Andersen and Rakocevic involved. Barcelona must maintain its defensive intensity and needs good games from Navarro and Lorbek.
