In earning the victory Miami shot 52.2 percent from the field and that included a very impressive 50% shooting percentage from three point range. The Mavericks, despite losing by 14 at one point, almost made the story of the game to be a comeback just as they did in game two. After Miami started the third quarter on an 8-0 run, Dallas responded with an 15-2 run of their own to tie the score at 57 apiece.The Mavericks, unlike in game two, failed to execute in game three in the final seconds. Trailing by just two points after a Chris Bosh jumper, Dallas turned the ball over on their second-last possession and then they missed a 16-foot fadeaway in the dying moments of regulation.Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 29 points and 11 rebounds in game three while Dirk Nowitzki, who missed the buzzer beater for Dallas, scored a game-high 34 points for the Mavericks.Game four takes place from Dallas once again on Tuesday night at 9pm ET. While both teams are definitely under a degree of pressure, the Mavericks, playing on their home court, are under greater pressure as they cannot afford to go down 3-1.ABC have the television coverage tonight in this pivotal game that promises to go a long way to determining who will win the series.
