The Butler Bulldogs and the Florida Gators are scheduled to meet in the Southeast Regional championship game on Saturday, the first game of the two regional finals to be played tomorrow.

Butler are the eighth seed in the bracket while Florida are the two seed and the game will come from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Butler enter the game with an opportunity to get back to the Final Four having made it that far last season. Florida are also no stranger to the Final Four as they have won two recent national championships and they have made the national semifinals on four occasions, all in the last twenty years.

After surviving the first two rounds by a combined three points Butler had no trouble with fourth seeded Wisconsin on Thursday as the Bulldogs posted a seven point spread.

Florida are somewhat opposite as they had no trouble with their opening weekend games while they were forced to an overtime session on Thursday against the BYU Cougars.

Butler have not lost a game in nearly two months and while many of those wins were against teams not good enough for the NIT, with back to back wins over Pittsburgh and Wisconsin, the Bulldogs are clearly a talented team.

In the last two months the Gators have only lost to the Kentucky Wildcats, another team that remain in the NCAA tournament as they knocked out Ohio State on Friday.

While most are calling for a Florida victory the basic fact remains that Butler have proven critics wrong time and time again in March in the last two years. Nothing short of a competitive game should be expected despite the oddsmakers favoring the Gators.

Game time on Saturday is at 4:30pm ET with CBS providing the television coverage.

Recommendation: Butler at +4 with Paddy Power
