Rain or Shine will try to make it two wins in a row over B-Meg in the PBA Governor's Cup final on Wednesday.

The Elasto Painters took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series after beating the Llamados 91-80 in Sunday's Game 1.

Import Jamelle Cornley led Rain or Shine with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Rookie sensation Paul Lee added 14 points while Gabe Norwood and Ronjay Buenafe had 10 each.

James Yap led the Llamados with 19 points. Import Marqus Blakely added 12 points while Marc Pingris had 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Meanwhile, this series has turned into a word war between the coaches of the two teams.

B-Meg head coach Tim Cone lambasted Rain or Shine's physical plays and was even thrown out of the game after he hurled a chair on the playing court in disgust over a no-call by a referee. As a result, he was fined by the Commissioner's office.  Cone has since apologized for his antics and promised not to do it again.

ROS mentor Yeng Guiao, meanwhile, called Cone's actions as "pathetic."

"We’re just playing tougher defense and this is the finals. (Cone) should understand that," Guiao told the Philippine Star.

"They hounded our guards from backcourt to frontcourt. They kept on bumping our guards from backcourt to frontcourt, and no single foul was called," explained Guiao, insisting that they were victims of dubious calls themselves.
