Allen Iverson, reportedly, does not want to end his career in Europe as the former NBA MVP wants another crack at the Association and maybe even the title.

According to a recent report at NBA.com Allen Iverson is eyeing making a comeback to the NBA next season. The 36 year old guard "is determined to end a career possibly destined for the Hall of Fame in the NBA, not in some faraway country where brief YouTube clips are the only way to stay updated on the four-time scoring champion."

According to Iverson: "I know what I can do. Everybody in the world knows what I can do. Everybody knows what I can do on the basketball court."

Correction. Everybody who has paid attention to the NBA over the last 15 years knows what Iverson did however there is a big question mark regarding what he can do at his current age.

The last time Iverson played in the NBA was during the 2009/10 season where he averaged 13.9 points per game in 25 games with Philadelphia. Iverson is at an age right now where production rates start to drop-off for many players and his old averages aren't necessarily what he'll produce in the future.

The guard, however, remains optimistic: "Just give me a training camp," he said.

The labor issue in the NBA certainly does not help the guard's chances of playing next season and with time not on his side waiting until the next year could only hurt him more.

Iverson also has a reputation for bringing unwanted drama to a team, something that adds extra risk for NBA franchises considering signing him.

However the guard seems determined and if he's flexible enough regarding the size of his pay-cheque he might be able to find a team to take him on, one he hopes is an NBA title contender.
