St Kilda are favourites to see off the Sydney Swans in NAB Cup quarter-final

- 26 Feb 2010

NAB Cup favourites St Kilda will be hoping for a straight-forward passage to the semi-finals and Sydney shouldn't cause them too many problems

The Saints booked their quarter-final place last Friday with a thrilling narrow 100-99 win over last season’s runners-up the Collingwood Magpies, while the Swans advanced a day later thanks to a 71-59 triumph over Carlton.

Nick Dal Santo, Lenny Hayes, Jason Gram are all expected to feature for the Saints after recovering from various problems, while Steven Baker is also ready for a return to action.

The Swans will be without the injured Craig Bird with Jesse White set to replace him, there is also a doubt over the fitness of full-forward Daniel Bradshaw but ruckman Shane Mumford and midfielder Ryan O'Keefe should both play a part.

The last time these two met was back in July in round 18 when the Saints scraped through with a 94-93 success at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

There is no surprise that Sportsbet.com.au have opted to install the Saints as favourites at 1.31A$, while the Swans are available at 3.45.

We have seen some shocks in this season’s NAB Cup and for another one this weekend you can punt on the Swans to record a winning margin of 60 or more points for the price of 31.00, while a 1-19 point victory for St Kilda is on offer at 4.35.

St Kilda are also favourites with Sportsbet.com.au to get the first points of the night at 1.75, while a price of 2.10 is available for the Swans to take an early lead.
