Port Adelaide determined to claim NAB Cup

- 2 Mar 2010
Port Adelaide coach Mark Williams insists his side will be going all out to win the NAB Cup for the first time since 2002.

The Power, who are 5.50A$ to win the NAB Cup with Sportsbet.com.au, secured their place in the semi-finals with a 158-80 hammering of West Coast Eagles.

Port Adelaide will now do battle with the Western Bulldogs (2.50 second favourites) on Friday after they dispatched of the Hawthorn Hawks 111-54.

Williams said: “We will be trying to win the NAB Cup, there is no doubt about that. We have to get ourselves right for round one.

"We will make sure the players who have not had game time, get it. We're a little bit underdone in that area.

"It's an opportunity to play in a grand final. We'll want that.

"We'll have to play a lot better than we did against the Eagles.”

Fremantle (10.00) will play St Kilda (2.35 favourites) in the second NAB Cup semi-final at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
