NAB Cup 2010 Betting opens this weekend

Round one of the 2010 NAB Cup kicks off this weekend with four matches spread over three days.

Last season’s winners the Geelong Cats (5.50A$ with Sportsbet.com.au to retain the trophy) are not in action this weekend as their first one clash against North Melbourne will take place at the Ethiad Stadium next Sunday.

The only game on Friday sees West Coast Eagles (19.00 to win the title) take on the Essendon Bombers (26.00). Odds for this match up see the Eagles 1.50 to take the victory or 7.00 for a winning margin between 40-59 points, while the Bombers can be backed at 2.60 for the win or 13.00 for the same points difference.

Saturday sees the Adelaide Crows take on Port Adelaide with the Crows available at 7.00 to go all the way and lift the trophy, while the Power are fancied at 34.00.

The Hawthorn Hawks have a price of 8.50 to win the NAB Cup with their opponents the Richmond Tigers available at 41.00.

The final game of the weekend sees the Western Bulldogs, 7.00 with Sportsbet.com.au, do battle with the Brisbane Lions, 13.00, at theManuka Oval on Sunday.

The remaining four matches for the opening round will take place the following week.
