Reigning AFL champions Geelong Cats remain second favourites to retain their title in 2010 after their opening round win over Essendon Bombers last weekend.

The Cats have been cut from 4.75A$ to 4.50 with Sportsbet.com.au to win the Grand Final after coming from behind to record a 125-94 victory over the Bombers, who have now gone from 51.00 to 67.00.

Last season’s runners-up St Kilda remain Sportsbet.com.au’s favourite to win the title after recording a hard-fought 96-88 win away at the Sydney Swans. They are 4.00 from 4.25, while the Swans are 41.00 from 51.00 after impressing against the Saints.

The two favourites to be fighting it out for the Wooden Spoon, Richmond Tigers and Melbourne, both suffered opening round defeats. The Tigers crashed 120-64 against Carlton, while the Demons lost 117-61 at home to the Hawthorn Hawks.

The Tigers have gone from 201.00 to win the Grand Final to 401.00 with Sportsbet.com.au after just one defeat, while the Demons are also 401.00 from 151.00 in what looks like a long hard season for both sides.
