Final addition, Franco, to make Cup debut

West Ham United manager Gianfranco Zola has stated that he is happy that his squad, and in particular his strikeforce, is now complete, and he can look forward to shaping his team for the season ahead.

The Italian said on the subject: “I am looking forward to having a little bit of consistency so I can put my ideas a bit more. From now on, I know who I am working with. I can start shaping the team and am looking forward to that a little bit more."

Zola’s final addition, Mexican international Guillermo Franco, who was picked up last week after having been released by Villarreal, is set for his Hammers debut on Tuesday in the Carling Cup tie against Bolton.

"If there is a possibility I will try to see him. He is a main striker, he is very good at holding the ball and very good with his feet.”
